Woke up 7am in the morning. Yep, this morning i was extra excited coz we're going hiking!! AArrghh!! Meeting susu n sangee at 8am at toa payah mac, n as usual, we are all "never-reach-on-time" queens. So yah, ure guess was rite, none of us reach 8am sharp at mac. But still, i was the first one to arrive so, I AM EARLY!!! anywway...we had or breakfast there n chat for awhile n still deciding on whether to go hiking or sentosa, but we stick wif hkiing anyway.

So we reached Macritchie at 10++ and our journey begins. Was really amazed by how much Macritchie has changed now. Now, u can rent a kayak n go kayaking for just $10. Would like to try tat someday, but thing is i've never sat on 1 before so i'm kinda "pengecut" (coward) to do it. Someone has to force me into doing it. So the kayak was the 1st "surprise". 2nd "surprise" was abt the monkeys. I really didnt knoe that there's so many monkeys in Macritchie. When we step into the trail, not far frm the entrance there was like 3-4 families of monkeys. U'll see the kids jumping around, swinging on small branches, n wrestling with the siblings. It was so cute. I felt like i was walking into an uncaged zoo. Haha...this is really wat they call "up-close n personal wif the monkeys". And not just monkeys, u see monitor lizards crossing over the trail right infront of u. The size of those lizards are just as big as the roasted turkey u'll haf on ure table for Thanksgiving. Man...i love mother nature. The onli thing i was scared of was meeting wif a snake. Luckily so far, we had not run into one n i dun ever wish that we would.

Took us more than 2 hrs i tink to reach the Tree Top Walk. Oh yah, by the way we decided to go to Tree top Walk coz we thought we would like to haf a change of scenery. We've been to Bukit Timah Hill for more than 3 times already so it's time for us to visit Tree Top Walk. It was a 5km walk n that walk was somehow quite torturing, maybe becoz we had not been exercising lately. Hehhe. When we reached the point, it was time for photo taking again!! N tat's when disaster strike us. Well..maybe not to us, maybe it's just to susu. U see, she always haf the habit of balancing her digicam on top of sumting so that she can run in in time before the camera snap our picture. So that way, everyboy faces could get in into the camera. But unluckily, when she tried to balance the camera on her bag, the camera toppled off when she stomped her way towards us. So the camera's lens is now stuck n it would werk. Felt sorry for her, n she really desperately try to "un-stuck" the lens. I really hope noting happens to it. After that, we continued our journey n the 1st time i look at the Tree Top Walk, i was kinda excited but after the 2nd look, i dun find it quite exciting anymore. Coz the the bridge was just a short one n it wasnt as high as i expect it to be. So, waas kinda dissapointed. We walked n climbed for more than 2 hrs n all we get was just a 10 mins walk across the bridge. Maybe they should improve that brigde, like make it higher. Anyway, it's time to make our way back to Macritchie Reservoir Park. We haf no maps n we haf no idea of how to alk back there, so we're just depending on our instinct. And so far, our instinct was right all a long.

Met a couple new frens along the way. They were also heading the same way as we are but i tink, they haf lesser experience than us. haha...coz we found them lost a couple of times. We were lost too, which end us up in a private property, but at least we can still get back to the right route. HAhah...i guess we haf memorized Macritchie routes very well already. But they day was going to rain anytime soon so we decided to just take the bus to sangee's place n we'll wash up day before gng out again for dinner. And i love Sangee's house. It's a terrace house by the way. It really does look like a typical malay house, very warm, very cozy. The onli ting i was afraid of was her dog. He/she kept on barking n ot seems like he/she was onli barking at ME!! ok...i'm gng to haf nightmare for the whole week. But other than tat, i love the house.

Then we went to eat KFC at Thomson Plaza. And that's where we talked and talked for hours. It's like, suddenly we haf to much things to talk about. Time really flew by so fast. We didnt even realised that we had actually been talking for more than 2 hrs. It reminds me of our secondary skool days when we use to go to our skool mac after skool n hang out there with our frens. *sigh*..miss those days. And it's kinda funny, how things haf changed so much. I mean, i was just thinking, last time, when we were in sec. skool, we gossiped more about our teachers, frens n complained abt homewerks n tests. Now, we were talking more about our boyfrens, about werk, about having a family n buying houses. This really shows that all of us has already grown up n matured in a lot of ways. I just hope that we wont mature so fast that soon, we will be talking about prices of fish n chicken and sales gng on in superstore. That's too "auntie-ish". Went back home about 8pm and was veri burned out by the time i reached home. Really hope one day we could do that again but this time, with the rest of the angels.
