90% of Singapore females haf urinary incontinence problem. Urinary incontinence is the uncontrollable leakage of urine. It is more common in the elderly, especially among women. Urinary incontinence is not a natural process of aging. But dun be surprise tat 80% of younger females also suffers from urinary incontinence. Just check ure undies n see if u haf wet ure pants whenever u haf full bladder. If u do, even a slightest dot, it means tat u gt urinary incontinence. I'm one of them.....


So wats the cause of this problem?? It's due to the weak pelvic floor muscle. The muscle supporting the outlet of the bladder weakens n thus, urine leaks. But dun worry, it's not the end of the world. If u start practising the Kegel's exercise, u're able to save ure undies!!!


Very simple, when u are voiding just stop n try to hold ure bladder for 10 sec, then u let go again, n hold for another 10 sec. Repeat the step 4-5 times everytime u void. There shouldnt be any urine dribbling when u hold ure bladder. If there is, it means ure pelvic floor muscle is weak. But of course u dun expect todae u do n tomorrow u see wonders. It takes time to strengthen the muscle back. Just keep doing n at the end of the month, u can see the difference already.


And remember, wetting ure undies is not good. U can get urinary infection. So drink lots of water n practice practice practice!!!

I'm totally addicted to these to games...."Diner Dash 2" n "Cake Mania". Got it from the yahoo games n now, i cant stop playing. Really do wan to buy the whole game, the only problem is i'm not rich enuf to own a credit card. Damn it!! So, all this while, i've just been playing the demo version. Once the pathetic time limit has been used up, the whole game disappears. AARRGGHHH!!! i wan the game!!!


Maybe some of u guys haf heard of this game n played the 1st version even. In Diner Dash 2, there's this character name Flo. She's the so called restaurant manager cum worker. So ure job is to run Flo around doing errands like, getting orders, cleaning table up, collecting payment. U are to earn a certain amnt of cash in a day, if u dun, u haf to repeat the level again. And if u make enuf profits for the day, u get to renovate ure restaurant.

See the tiny little woman with a piece of paper on 1 hand n a glass on the other hand..?? That's Flo!! As u get to higher level, u'll meet wif more difficult customers. If u lose a customer, ure money will fly a way. So must always keep them happy by not making them wait.

The other game is Cake Mania. Just as the name says, it has sumting to do wif cake. The game however is about the same as Diner Dash. U haf to attend to ure customers, get the orders, make the orders, collect payment, etc. Only that now, u'll be dealing if cakes.

Jill is the one who's holding a cake behind the counter. That long queue are the customers. Those cakes in bubbles are their orders. So u haf to bake according to their orders. But becareful!! Dun take too long to do it. If not they will turn red like the guy in the first line.

U knoe the feeling after for so long u haf not met someone, n u just misses them so badly, n when the day comes for u guys to get together, n after the whole "looking forward to the day" excitement, the day didnt turn out like the way u had planned. In fact, it was the worst.

Just plain disappointed.

Finally i bought my sis' album. Not just one, but 2!! haha...i bought her recent album n also the previous one, the one i didnt manage to get the other time. Weeee!! i couldnt stop listening to it since 3 days ago.


Ouh yes ppl!! Most probably on the 1st July there's gng to be another girls day out!! So...susu, aisyah, sya, zie, sangee...if u're reading this, pls keep ureself free k!! U've gt 3 weeks to do tat..haha. We're heading to sentosa this time. weeeee~!


This is like my 5th week of attachment. I'm so damn tired already. It really feels like as if i've already started working. I think i knoe why now most of them started quitting the job after 1 yr or so....this is a really tiring job. physically n mentally. Rite now i'm just doing the junior werk n i've already feel the pressure n stress. I just wonder wat it's gng to be like when i become the in-charge. I think i wont even haf time to go for a 5 min break. Talking abt break, i also found out that most of the nurses will end up wif Urinary Tract Infection. Coz they wont be eating well, not drinking enuf water n wont even haf the chance to empty the bladder during shift. So tats y most of them will end up wif UTI. I did some survey n 2/3 of the nurses in my ward haf gotten UTI before. Oh man....wat do i get for helping others??.....UTI!! Not to mention the pay. Once we graduate n start werking in a hospital, we will still be under probation. So during that 3 months of probation, our payment is gng to be $1500 FLAT!!! my goodness...after they cut ure CPF off, u're gng to bring home $1300 only. And even after the probation, ure payment will only raise abt $130. That certainly is not equivalent to the amt of werk u had to do. The government shld really do sumting abt it. I mean, they are always saying they look up to the nurses, appreciate the sacrifices they made, respect them....y not this time u guys really show thay appreciation by increasing our pay rather than just words.


When we were in yr 1, our lecturers used to tell us that nurses pay is quite high.


They lied.

First Phase
Mother complains of pain. Uses the Antenox( a kind of analgesia) every minute every sec. Contractions gets more regular n harder. Vaginal examination done at every 15 min. Cervical os is measured to be 7cm at 2.30pm. 3pm, cervical os has widened to 8 cm. Mother complains having a slight urge to push. Continues to grab on hubby's hand. Hubby's hand is still in one piece.


Second Phase
Staff nurse did a vaginal examination again. Cervical os is now 10cm. Time to start the birth process. Mother start pushing. Staff nurse n doctor puts on their gown n gets the equipment ready. Hubby by the mother's side, consoling n encouraging her. Mother starts to feel the REAL pain of labour. Staff nurse stretched the vagina, baby's head could be seen. Continues to tell mother to keep pushing on the next pain/contraction. Baby's head abt to pops out. Doctor inject some lignocaine (analgesic) on the perineum. Doctor snips abt 1 inch of the perineum. blood starts spillling out. On the 3rd push, baby's head pops out. Mother is already exhausted but she needs to make a last push for the shoulders to pass through. Mother starts saying she can't do it. Doctor scolds the mother n force her to keep pushing. Doctor tugs on the head, trying to pull it out.

Baby is out but not crying. Staff nurse carried him to the suction trolley. Using a suction tube, sucks the amniotic fluid in the baby's mouth. Staff nurses slaps baby's bum a couple of times, making him cry. Baby cries.


Third Phase
Mother's vagina kept vomitting out blood. Doctor stuffed in some gauze into the vagina to stop bleeding. Doctor sews the perineum area. He then stuffed his whole arm into the vagina to collect the gauze that's been stuffed earlier on. Mother is lying exhaustingly in bed. Hubby's hand is almost crushed. Doctor is pulling on the placenta cord. 1 min passed. Placenta is out.

By the end of the whole 3 phases, there's a pool of blood in bed.

Still thinking of having children??
