I still dunno wats the name of her ceremony. They are giving out certs for those who haf graduate from the Hospitality n Tourism course n also those who haf succesfully followed through the training till the end. And dun be surprise but all these courses are actually under the Mac Donald. The store selected a few of their staffs to attend the course and upon their achievement to haf sucessfully completed the course, they are awarded with a cert. And these certs are not those "thank you for participating" certs. Some of them are Diploma certs even. Most of them who gets the Diploma are the managers n yah, these Diploma are equivalant to our poly diploma. So dun think working in Mac Donald is a waste of time. If u're serious enuf, it can actually get u far. Haha, i even heard tat a few of them planned to quit mac n use the diploma to werk in a hotel. Tats pretty smart....


Before we could get to function, we ended up doing a small "amazing race". Couldnt find the hotel n then mistook the wrong hotel for tat hotel which made us to hop into another taxi again to speed our way through to the right hotel. By the time i'm sweating like mad already n all my delicate make up are melting. Luckily the hotel's aircond didnt break down so bless the person who invents airconditioner.


They had a rehearsal while me n susu were busy commenting on each n everyones dress code. When it was ais's turn to step onto the satge, we wanted to shake some pompoms, hold up a banner saying "we love Aisyah!!" n maybe shout out some chearleading cheers...but i guess tats too babaric for the Merritus Mandarin Hotel. So in the end we remain silent n "classy-ly" clapped our hands. When the event finally start, it even bore me to death. The VIPs will give their speech, tell some lame jokes, hypnotize us tat Mac Donald is good n "vote for me for ure next president election". yadyadyada....We just wan them to get with the Presentation of the Certs so tat after the whole shaking hands, thank-yous, smiling n bowing....they could lead us to the refreshments table which is the real n most exciting part of the day.


But overall, it's actually not bad lah. The food was damn good...n filling too. I love their chicken pie. The filling was very addictive. Thier cakes are really mouth-watering. And best of all, the boneless chicken wings tats marinated wif some gingery sauce.....How i wish i could slide a few of those into my hand bag. ok..photos below...more of it u can get it from my photo collection in shutterfly.
